Why calendar sync matters

Students and staff live in their personal calendars. When timetables, interviews and appointments exist only inside an institutional portal, people miss changes and double-book. Publishing them as calendar feeds and invitations puts institutional schedules where people already look, and updates arrive automatically when rooms or times change.

Frequently asked questions

Which calendar apps are supported?

Calendar feeds use standard formats that common calendar applications can subscribe to. Two-way sync for bookings depends on your institution’s calendar platform.

Do students see other students’ appointments?

No. Booking pages are designed to show only available time slots, never who booked the other slots.

What happens when a class is moved?

In the design, the change is published once in Acadlytic; subscribed calendars then update and affected students are notified.
